CONSULTANCY ABROAD
Richard Chivers works on the European Union's ACP framework projects in the Nile perch and marine fisheries programmes in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and on fish inspector training in Cambodia.
His work with Competent Authorities comprises auditing their functions and evaluating their activities with a view to achieving equivalence to EU standards of performance. This input has included training in the practical aspects of auditing and quality management.
He has also provided consultancy advice and training to private industry in order to raise performance equivalent to EU standards.
